Liquid Gas Europe Team

Originally from Poland, Ewa Abramiuk-Lété has been active in the EU Brussels energy arena since 2007. Over the years, she has specialised in gaseous and sustainable fuels and been a strong supporter of Europe’s rural communities.  Seamlessly integrating advocacy and communications, Ewa is determined for Liquid Gas Europe to structurally engage with broader energy and societal stakeholders – together ensuring that a just energy transition is accessible, attainable, and affordable to all, whether on or off-the grid.

Carlos Buatas used to work at a Brussels-based consultancy, where he focused on developing global communications campaigns for a wide range of international clients. He holds a master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University (USA).

Prior to joining Liquid Gas Europe John worked in the Business Development team of a major European LPG distribution company where he specialised in energy efficiency and decarbonisation strategy. John has extensive experience of the energy performance of buildings, having founded an operational and energy management software and services consultancy. John is a chartered engineer and he spent 10+ years working in UK manufacturing sector. John is also a qualified educationalist and he spent 12 years teaching IT, Business Studies, Design & Technology and Maths. John is a UK national but a passionate European, he has houses in England and France.

As Policy Officer, Leonhard Woessner is responsible for shaping and implementing the advocacy strategy of Liquid Gas Europe. In doing so, he maintains a current overview of relevant policy developments. A recent graduate in Public Policy and Human Development from The United Nations University and Maastricht University, Leo has managed to gain experience in lobbying and public affairs through previous internships in Brussels. Leo speaks English, German, and Spanish.

Clara, originally from Italy, is a communication professional holding a master’s degree in International Journalism from Cardiff University. She has gained valuable experience through internships, including one at CNBC in Milan. Alongside her journalistic background, Clara also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

Julia Coelho holds a Bachelor`s degree in Environmental Engineer and just finished her Master`s degree in Renewable Energy Engineer being both Universities based in Lisbon, Portugal.
