The 2018 AEGPL Congress took place in Monaco from the 31st of May to the 1st of June. The Congress is the largest annual gathering of the LPG industry, organised by the European LPG Association.
Once more, the AEGPL Congress attracted companies from around the World, showcasing the most modern and innovative products of the LPG industry. Over 100 companies were represented in 130 booths, at the prestigious Grimadi Forum in Monte Carlo. The choice of Monaco as the hosting destination was not innocent. The Principality is becoming increasingly known as a Green Hub, leading international efforts in promoting environmental solutions and a live lab for sustainable initiatives. The LPG industry is taking a similar path, currently investing in sustainable solutions that make a difference in people’s lives while actively contributing to a cleaner world.
Parallel to the exhibition, participants were able to attend a two-day high level Conference. This year the LPG industry was honoured to welcome His Serene Highness Prince Albert of Monaco for the Opening Ceremony. Congress delegates then heard about the most challenging subjects for the sector from experts, policy makers, and industry representatives. Panels on Policy and Innovation; the Multiple Uses of LPG; or Market Trends made it clear that there are many opportunities in the future for companies that are willing to innovate and be entrepreneurial.
The 2018 AEGPL Congress was a success, gathering a total of 1000 participants. As in previous editions, the Congress included also a selection of Social Events, with particular relevance to the Gala Dinner that took place at the very exclusive Monaco Yacht Club.

The 2019 European LPG Congress will take place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from the 24th to the 26th of September next year. The 2019 edition will be a joint event with the World LPG Forum organised by the World LPG Association - all the information can be found here.
