Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers at the European LPG e-Congress (Event) are required to agree with the following code of conduct.

Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We are expecting cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody: Be respectful to each other, show empathy, and help make this a safe space to explore tangible, equitable solutions.

Overview

Our Event is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, experience, or religion (or lack thereof). We do not tolerate harassment of LPG e-Congress participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any Liquid Gas Europe online platform, including anything communicated during the content of the online event, on social media or any other online outlets. Event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the LPG e-Congress at the discretion of the event organisers.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other Event content, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the Event organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the Event.

Sponsors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualised images, activities, or other material in promoting their organisation or in communication with participants. Online booth staff (including volunteers) should not use sexualised clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise create a sexualised environment.

Code of Conduct FOR PARTICIPANTS:

• We will use the technology that is most accessible to everyone.
• Test your technology before the meeting and resolve any technical issues.
• Do not multitask (do other work) during the meeting.
• Follow an organised line-up to ensure each person has a chance to respond.
• Find a quiet space to participate.
• Make sure there is nothing inappropriate in the background 
• Use the mute button at your site to prevent transmitting background noise. 
• Speak up to get attention if you have something to say.
• Turn on your video whenever possible, and be camera-ready.

European LPG e-Congress online  behavior

Attendees should behave in a way as to create a safe and supportive environment for all Liquid Gas Europe online events (webinar, live streams, etc.) participants (including Liquid Gas Europe moderators, attendees, vendors, sponsors, speakers, and volunteers) and will not engage in disruptive speech or behavior or otherwise interfere with the online event or other individuals' participation in the event.

Attendees will not engage in any form of harassing, offensive, discriminatory, or threatening speech or behavior, including (but not limited to) relating to race, gender, gender identity and expression, national origin, religion, disability, marital status, age, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, or other protected category.

Attendees agree to comply with the instructions of the moderator and any Liquid Gas Europe online event staff and with all applicable laws.

Scope

We expect all online event participants (including Liquid Gas Europe moderators, attendees, vendors, sponsors, speakers, and volunteers) to uphold the principles of this Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct covers the main online event and all related events (social or otherwise).

Consequences

Breaches of this Code of Conduct may result in disqualification from participating in future live and online events and from engagement across Liquid Gas Europe blogs, online forums, and social media channels.
